ITHACA, N.Y. — Juniors Danielle Letourneau and Rachel Au each won a pair of matches Friday night, helping the women's squash team earn a split against Penn and William & Smith at Belkin International Squash Courts. The Big Red fell to the Quakers, 6-3, before responding with a 9-0 sweep of the Herons.
 
Au got Cornell (8-4, 3-3 Ivy League), ranked sixth in the nation by the College Squash Association, on the board in the first rotation against third-ranked Penn by rallying for a five-game victory at the No. 6 position. The Quakers went on to clinch the match by sweeping the middle rotation.
 
Junior Lindsay Seginson won her match at No. 4 in four games. Letourneau wrapped up the match with a marathon five-game victory at the No. 1 spot against Anaka Alankamony, with the final three games all needing extra points.
 
The Big Red roared back with a convincing win over William & Smith, improving to 12-0 in the teams' all-time series. All nine matches were decided in the minimum three games with the Big Red surrendering more than six points in only one of the 27 total games.
 
Cornell wraps up the regular season at noon Sunday with a visit to fifth-ranked Princeton (7-3, 2-3).
