ITHACA, N.Y. – With just two weeks remaining in the regular season, the Cornell men's and women's polo teams are pointed toward postseason success. They'll both continue their preparations with home contests this weekend at Oxley Equestrian Center. The Cornell women are 9-1 in their last 10 games, including last weekend's 17-16 shootout win at defending national champion Virginia. At 13-3, head coach
David Eldredge's team sports a perfect 11-0 mark in Ithaca. He picked up his 450th win with the women's program earlier this spring and now sports a 452-124-17 (.777) record.
On the men's side, Cornell is 9-5 after last weekend's 23-11 defeat to the Cavaliers in Charlottesville, Va. The Big Red is 9-3 in its last 12 contests, with all three of its losses coming to Virginia. Eldredge sports a 405-171-8 overall record (.700) with the men.
