ITHACA, N.Y. -- Cornell Athletics is pleased to announce the launch of its new online store developed in collaboration with The Cornell Store. The new Official Fan Shop of Cornell Big Red offers a large selection of high quality athletic apparel and gifts celebrating Cornell Athletics' teams and spirited fans. Brands include Russell, 47 and Nike, and merchandise is available for all members of the family, in styles and sizes for men, women and children.

"This is an exciting time for Cornell athletics, and we're excited that the Cornell Store has joined with us as our Official Fan Shop," said Jeff Hall, Senior Associate Director of Athletics for Sports Marketing. "With the holiday shopping season here, and throughout the year, we hope that Cornell fans around the world will wear their Big Red colors proudly."
 
Prior to this new partnership with The Cornell Store, online merchandise sales for Cornell Athletics were operated by a third party vendor. Benefits of operating the store on campus include a broader merchandise selection, more frequent promotions, special offers, and improved revenue opportunities for Cornell Athletics. In addition for members of the Cornell community conveniences include payment by CornellCard, departmental purchases, assistance with bulk orders, and free delivery for departmental orders.
 
"We are excited about this new partnership which allows The Cornell Store to provide great products and service to Cornell Athletics' fans while generating proceeds to support athletic programs," said Fred Piccirilli, Director of The Cornell Store.
