Winter Storm Schedule Updates

ITHACA, N.Y. -- We are closely monitoring the weekend storm potential and working with the visiting teams, ECAC Hockey and the Ivy League on its impact on our weekend events. Should inclement weather force any schedule changes, we will immediately post updates on CornellBigRed.com and our social media accounts – Facebook, Twitter and Instagram. This page will be updated as changes are announced.

TIME CHANGE – Men's Squash To Face Western Ontario at Noon
Up in the air due to the impending storm, Cornell and Western Ontario will now meet on Saturday at noon at the Belkin Squash Courts. 

Friday, Jan. 18 - 12:31 pm.
CANCELLATION – Fencing Cancels Participation In Philadelphia Invitational
The Big Red fencing team will not travel to Pennsylvania on Saturday  to compete in four meets as part of the Philadelphia Invitational due to the impending storm. 

Friday, Jan. 18 - 11:25 am.
CANCELLATION – Wrestling Cancels Saturday Evening Match At Sacred Heart
The Cornell wrestling team's first-ever matchup with EIWA foe Sacred Heart will have to wait another year, as the impending storm has cancelled its Saturday evening dual in Fairfield, Conn. 

Friday, Jan. 18 - 9:00 am.
TIME CHANGE – Wrestling at Columbia Moved Up An Hour to 12 p.m.
Cornell wrestling will go for its 84th consecutive Ivy League dual meet win an hour earlier than originally scheduled, with impending weather in the Northeast moving the match to 12 p.m. at the Blue Gym. The team's 6 p.m. match at Sacred Heart is still under consideration. 

Thursday, Jan. 17 - 6:02 pm.
TIME CHANGE – Men's Hockey Moves Up Game vs. Dartmouth To 3 p.m.
Due to impending inclement weather in the area, the men's hockey team's ECAC Hockey and Ivy League game against Dartmouth will now be played at 3 p.m. Saturday at Lynah Rink. This moves the start up four hours from the originally scheduled time.

Thursday, Jan. 17 - 1:35 pm.
TIME CHANGE – Swimming & Diving Moves Senior Day Up Two Hours To Avoid Storm
The Big Red swimming and diving team has moved its Ivy League dual meet against Yale to 10 a.m. on Saturday, Jan. 19, with Senior Day ceremonies right before the start of the meet. 

Thursday, Jan. 17 - 12:00 pm.
DATE CHANGE – Swimming & Diving To Visit St. Bonaventure on Monday
The Big Red swimming and diving team has had its non-conference dual meet at St. Bonaventure, scheduled for Sunday afternoon, moved to Monday, Jan. 21. Diving will begin at 11 a.m., with swimming starting at 2 p.m.

TIME CHANGE – Basketball Double-Header, Kids Day Moved Up
The Big Red basketball double-header against Columbia, as well as all KIDS DAY activities have been moved earlier on Saturday morning to allow the Lions' squads to travel safely back to New York City. The women's game, originally scheduled for 1 p.m., will tip-off at 11 a.m. with the men's game beginning 30 minutes following the conclusion of that game, at roughly 1:30 p.m. The first KIDS DAY activities will begin at 11 a.m., with more activities becoming available throughout the afternoon. All kids receive free admission to both games and there will be plenty of giveaways (while supplies last).
