Box Score HANOVER, N.H. — Freshman forward Liza Mariner scored her first collegiate goal in the 71st minute, but the Dartmouth scored twice soon thereafter to secure a 5-1 victory over the Cornell women's soccer team on Saturday at Burnham Field.

Mariner's goal cut Cornell's deficit to 2-1 with a little less than 19 minutes left in the second half. Sophomore Evanthia Spyredes drew the assist on the play, sending a long pass in front the left side. Mariner got loose to the inside of her defender before taking a stride and slotting a shot inside the far post past the charging goalkeeper.
