10/4/2021 10:30:00 AM

ITHACA, N.Y. -- Here are some notes from the Cornell football team's 21-10 loss at Bucknell on Saturday.

TEAM

  • The Big Red has allowed fewer than 100 yards in consecutive games in the same season for the first time since limiting Columbia (27) and Penn (79) to 106 total rush yards in the final two games of 2013.
  • Cornell surrendered just 243 yards of offense, the fewest given up in a loss since Columbia piled up 235 yards in a 24-21 victory in 2018.
  • In its last two games, Cornell has turned the ball over seven times without forcing a miscue.
  • Delonte Harrell's 4-yard rushing touchdown in the second quarter made it eight consecutive games with a score on the ground, the longest streak by the Big Red since recording 10 spanning the 2007-08 campaigns.
  • Harrell's touchdown was also Cornell's first lead of the season after 137:07 of play.
  • With its successful PAT try, Cornell place-kickers have made 23 consecutive extra-point attempts.
  • The Big Red offensive line has surrendered just four sacks in its last 205 dropbacks.
  • Cornell's offense had six plays of at least 20 yards against the Bison, with four plays going at least 25 yards.

  • Senior Eric Gallman II added three catches and 31 receiving yards to bring his career totals to 72 catches for 695 yards.
