ITHACA, N.Y. – Following a dominant performance last weekend from the Cornell men's squash team, the No. 8-ranked Big Red will host No. 14-ranked Williams and Ivy League rival Brown this weekend at the Belkin Squash Courts.
Cornell's

Aaron Liang (No. 2),
Spencer Yager (No. 4),

Game action against Williams on Saturday is scheduled to begin at noon.
The Ephs' season gets underway on Friday when it embarks on its season-opening road trip of 12 games. Williams will play three matches in as many days this weekend when it travels to Clinton, N.Y., for a NESCAC match against Hamilton. Following Saturday's match against the Big Red, the Ephs will head northwest to Geneva, N.Y., when it plays Hobart on Sunday.
Saturday will be the first time Cornell is playing Williams since posting a 9-0 victory to open the 2018-19 season, as last year's match with the Ephs was postponed. Cornell has won its last 10 matches to Williams, dropping just seven games since the Big Red's last loss to the Ephs on Jan. 27, 2008.
Following Saturday's match against Williams, Cornell will square off against Ivy League rival Brown on Sunday for a scheduled 2 p.m. start.
Brown is coming off a 9-0 loss to Harvard on Tuesday, in which the Crimson shutout the Bears in all nine matches. The Bears host Bates on Saturday before traveling to Ithaca to play St. Lawrence on a neutral court prior to facing Cornell later in the day.
Cornell has fared well against Brown as of late, winning 17 of its last 18 matches against the Bears, dating back to 2001-02.
Sunday will be the first time the two Ivy League foes are playing each other since Jan. 12, 2020.
