About the Big Red
• Cornell has scored in its last five matches, the longest scoring streak with
Rob Ferguson on the Big Red coaching staff. It is the longest overall scoring streak since a five-game stretch that spanned the final game of 2018 and the first four games of 2019.

Laken Gallman are tied for the team lead in goals with two apiece. Durik (2.50 - T-9th) and Gallman (2.25 - T-19th) are one of three sets of teammates currently ranked in the top-20 in shots on goal per game. Brown (Brittany Raphino and Ava Seelenfreund) and Notre Dame (Olivia Wingate and Maddie Mercado) are the other teams with multiple players ranking in the top-20.
• Gallman has scored in each of Cornell's last two games, marking the second time in her collegiate career that she has scored in consecutive games. The other instance came during her freshman year at Tampa, a Division II school, when she netted the game-winning goals against St. Leo (March 13, 2021) and Rollins (March 17, 2021).

• Cornell continues to lead the Ivy League in shots on goal per game (8.00), while the team's .5249 shooting accuracy is eight-thousandths of a point shy of matching Harvard's .5254 first-place figure.

Laken Gallman have been two of the Big Red's more accurate shooters this season, as the duo have combined for a .704 shooting percentage (19 shots out of 27 attempts).
• Cornell has logged a shots on goal percentage of at least 50 percent in each of its four games to open the 2022 campaign.
• In the Aug. 28 loss to Marist, 13 of Cornell's 26 shot attempts were on target. Both figures were the most since a meeting with UAlbany on Sept. 15, 2013, when Cornell had 17 shots on goal in 32 shot attempts. The 26 shot attempts remain the most by an Ivy League school this season.
Great Danes Scout
• UAlbany will enter Wednesday's contest with a 1-5-0 record. After being shutout in its first four games of the season, freshman Emily Jozak netted a hat trick, leading the Great Danes to a 3-1 home victory over Rider on Aug. 31.
• Jozak, who has three of UAlbany's four goals of the season, recorded the Great Danes' second Division I hat trick, joining Mariah Williams who did so in 2017 against its America East foe, Maine.
• Despite getting a goal from Selma Elverum in the fifth minute, the Great Danes conceded a pair of second-half goals to La Salle, who prevailed last Sunday in Philadelphia, 2-1.
• Megan Hart has been the Great Danes' go-to goalkeeper this season, having started all six of UAlbany's games this season.
Series vs. UAlbany
• Wednesday will be the eighth all-time meeting between the two New York State schools. Cornell currently leads the series, 3-2-2.
• Cornell is winless in its last three against UAlbany (0-1-2) and the Big Red are seeking its first win over the Great Danes since a 5-4 victory on Sept. 15, 2013.
• Five of the previous seven matches, including the last four, between the two programs have been decided by one goal or less.
• The Big Red are seeking its first victory over the Great Danes on their home turf since the inaugural meeting between the two programs on Oct. 16, 2005. Cornell won the game, 2-1, in overtime as Kara Ishikawa scored both goals for the Big Red on assists from Shannon Fraser.
