PRINCETON, N.J. – The No. 3-ranked Princeton men's squash team defeated No. 8-ranked Cornell, 8-1, in a battle between two top-10 Ivy League foes at Jadwin Gymnasium on Sunday afternoon.
Princeton (3-0, 2-0 Ivy) used six straight-set victories to solidify the Tigers' third-straight win to open the year
Cornell (5-2, 1-2 Ivy) has now lost its last two matches, which have come against two of the top-3 opponents in the College Squash Association rankings.
Senior
Veer Chotrani was the lone Cornell player to record a victory on Sunday, cruising in his match at the top of the ladder against Daelum Mawji, 11-7, 11-4, 11-5.
Aaron Liang (No. 2) and
Spencer Yager (No. 4) also recorded set victories, but fell in four sets.
Nicholas Göth Errington also went to four sets in the No. 10 exhibition match.

Cornell will return to action next weekend when it squares off against Trinity and Yale. The Big Red will take on the Bantams next Saturday, Jan. 21, at 1 p.m. from the George A. Kellner Squash Courts in Hartford before heading to New Haven, Conn., to play Yale the following day at noon.
