ITHACA, N.Y. – The No. 8-ranked Cornell men's squash team returns to action this weekend when it takes on No. 6 Trinity and No. 4 Yale in Connecticut.
Cornell (5-2, 1-2 Ivy) will face the Bantams (9-1) on Saturday at 1 p.m. in Hartford before traveling south to New Haven to square off against Ivy League foe Yale (4-1, 1-1 Ivy) at noon on Sunday.
Veer Chotrani looks to continue his strong start to the season, as the senior has a 6-1 record this season. The lone loss for Chotrani came in a five-set match last Friday against Penn's Nathan Tze Bing Kueh.
Scouting Trinity
No. 6 Trinity enters this weekend with a 10-1 record following an 8-1 win over No. 7 Drexel in Philadelphia on Wednesday.
Three Bantams players registered straight-set victories for Trinity, including at Mohamed Sharaf and Abdelrahman Nassar at the top two positions.
So far this year, the Bantams have dropped just eight points on the year, six of which came in its 6-3 defeat to Harvard this past Sunday.
Trinity swept last year's meeting at the Belkin Squash Courts, 9-0.
Scouting Yale
Yale, who is ranked No. 4 in the most recent College Squash Association rankings, is coming off a 9-0 victory over Dartmouth in Hanover, N.H., last Sunday.
Siow Yee Xian (No. 1), Maxwell Orr (No. 2), Tad Carney (No. 4), and Eric Kim (No. 8) each posted straight-set victories against the Big Green.

Veer Chotrani posted a four-set victory to give the Big Red its lone point of the match.
Cornell will be looking to snap its 10-game losing streak to the Bulldogs on Sunday. The last time the Big Red won against its Ancient Eight rival was in the first round of the 2012 Potter Cup.
Looking Ahead
Following this week's matches, Cornell will play its next three matches at the Belkin Squash Courts. The homestand begins on Saturday, Jan. 28, when it hosts Harvard at noon.
