NEW HAVEN, Conn. – The No. 4-ranked Yale men's squash team posted a 9-0 victory over No. 8-ranked Cornell at the Brady Squash Center on Sunday afternoon.

Veer Chotrani fell to Siow Yee Xian in a five-set match in a match at the top spot on the ladder. Chotrani and Xian traded wins in the first four sets before Xian won the decisive fifth set by an 11-9 score.

Spencer Yager (No. 4) and Humza Khan (No. 5) fell in four sets for the Big Red, who fell to 5-4 on the year and 1-3 in Ivy League play.

Mukunth Gopalakrishnan also lost in four sets in the No. 10 exhibition match.

Looking Ahead

Cornell opens a three-match Ivy League homestand next weekend when the Big Red welcomes Harvard and Dartmouth to the Belkin Squash Courts. Both matches are scheduled to start at noon and will be broadcast on Stretch Internet.
