ITHACA, N.Y. — Sophomore
Arnaav Sareen posted an impressive five-game victory over Harvard's Ido Burstein despite the No. 8-ranked Cornell men's squash team falling to the Crimson, 8-1, at the Belkin Squash Courts on Saturday afternoon.
Burstein won the first two games by identical 11-9 scores before Sareen took over the match at the No. 3 position on the ladder, dropping just five points over the final three games, 11-4, 11-1, 11-1.
Senior
Veer Chotrani also avenged losing the opening two games, 15-13, 11-8, to Marwan Tarek in No. 1 match with 11-6 and 11-2 victories in the third and fourth games. Tarek recorded the victory in the match by an 11-6 score in the final game.
Spencer Yager (No. 4),
Tanay Punjabi (No. 7), and
Nick Robinson (No. 8) each lost in four games.
