ITHACA, N.Y. — The No. 8-ranked Cornell men's squash team snapped its five-game losing streak with a 7-2 victory over No. 10-ranked Dartmouth at the Belkin Squash Courts on Sunday afternoon.
Cornell (6-5, 2-4 Ivy) had five players win in three games, including senior
Veer Chotrani at the top position of the Big Red ladder, 11-7, 11-6, 11-5.
Sophomores
Arnaav Sareen (No. 3) and
Rohan Iyer (No. 6), and juniors
Nick Robinson (No. 7) and
Morgan Huberman (No. 8) were the other Cornell players to not drop a game on Sunday.
Fellow sophomore
Aaron Liang (No. 2) was the other victorious Big Red player, claiming his match in four games.
For the second time in as many days, a Cornell player overcame a 2-0 deficit, winning in five games. Senior
Humza Khan logged victories of 16-14, 13-11, and 11-3, to defeat Quintin Campbell.
Nicholas Göth Errington battled in his four-game loss to Dartmouth's Auggie Bhavsar. All three games in which Bhavsar won needed two-point clearance, 12-10, 15-13, 16-14.
The victory for Cornell marked the program's fourth consecutive win over the Big Green.
