ITHACA, N.Y. -- Take a look back at Cornell football's 41-23 loss to #21/19 Harvard this past weekend.

PLAYER NOTES

• Senior Manny Adebi's two blocked kicks give him a school record for blocks in a career with seven, surpassing the previous mark of six by Joel Sussman '05.
• Adebi blocked two kicks in the contest, both PAT attempts, to become the first player in school history to block multiple kicks in multiple games during a career. He also blocked two kicks at Princeton on Oct. 29, 2022.
• With three blocks in his first four contests of 2023, Adebi is tied for third on the single-season list and one behind his own single-season mark.
• Adebi is currently tied for second-most blocked kicks in all of college football. Three others have tallied four blocks, all of which who have played at least one more game the the Big Red.
• Freshman Samuel Musungu caught a 12-yard touchdown pass in the fourth quarter, the first of his career. He became the first Big Red freshman to catch a touchdown pass since Eric Gallman II at Delaware to kick off the 2017 campaign.
• Junior Jameson Wang's two touchdown runs upped his total to five over the past three games.
• His 17 career rushing touchdowns is now tied for 11th all-time at Cornell and is second among quarterbacks, behind only Gary Wood '64 with 18.
• Wang's 39 touchdowns accounted for (17 rushing, 22 passing) put him tied with Bill Lazor '94 for sixth on the school's career list.
• With 1,115 rushing yards for his career, Wang moved into 28th place on the school's career list. Next up in 27th is former Big Red fullback Moose Miller '51 (1,138)
• Wang also upped his career passing yardage total to 2,839 yards, good for 12th at Cornell.
• With 21 completions, Wang jumped into the Big Red's top 10 at ninth with 266.
• With 3,954 yards of total offense, Wang moved into ninth all-time and is 46 yards away from 4,000.
• Wang has upped his career scoring total to 106 points after becoming the 24th player in Cornell history to surpass 100 for a career and the first since Harold Coles '20.
• Senior place-kicker Jackson Kennedy is 15-of-20 on field goals over the past two seasons. His .750 field goal percentage is second among all Big Red kickers with at least 15 career made field goals (Nickolas Null '20 at .762 is first).
• With his two PAT kicks, Kennedy is now 33-for-33 for his career. Only AJ Weitsman '06, at 42-for-42, has made more without a miss all-time at Cornell.
• With 78 career points, Kennedy is 14th all-time in kicking points and is seven shy of joining the top 10.
• Kennedy's 42-yard field goal as time expired to end the first half means the senior has now ended three of the past five halves of play with a walk-off kick.
• Matt Robbert's five catches give him 51 for his career, making him the 55th player in school history to record 50 career catches.
• Senior Luke Duby's touchdown pass to Samuel Musungu in the fourth quarter was the first of his career.
• Evan Nesmith (OL) and Manny Adebi (TE) both made their first career starts.

TEAM NOTES

• Cornell hasn't thrown an interception in five games spanning 186 passing attempts, including all four contests this season with 156 throws.
• The Big Red has turned the ball over just three times in 305 offensive plays this season.
• Cornell has rushed for at least 100 yards as a team in 10 consecutive contests, the longest such stretch since a streak of 13 in a row that covered all of the 2005 season and the first three contests of 2006.
• The Big Red has now connected on 68 consecutive PAT kicks as a team, the last 33 by Jackson Kennedy.
• The Big Red is 8-of-9 on field goals so far this season, while opponents are 0-for-4 with one kick blocked.
• Cornell's 27 first downs on offense are the most in a conference game since also piling up 27 at Brown in 2018 and the most against the Crimson since 2008 (28).\
• In two Ivy road games to begin the season against Yale and Harvard, the Big Red has held an average time of possession of 37:00.
• Cornell has scored on 16-of-18 trips to the red zone this season, including 14 consecutive after going 3-for-3 vs. Harvard.
• The 15 penalty yards surrendered are the fewest in a game by the Big Red since being whistled just once for 7 yards at Penn in 2017.
