PHILADELPHIA -- Bradley Paliska locked up a berth to ITA Super Regionals during the final day of ITA Regionals on Monday morning.

The senior dominated his match against St. John's Ryota Kaneda, winning in straight sets (6-2, 6-1) to head to supers for the second straight season. Paliska will join junior Radu Papoe in the singles portion of the event on Oct. 20 - Oct. 23 in Princeton, N.J.

It was also a weekend of winning for men's tennis at the Dick Savitt Open from the Reis Tennis Center.

Junior Radu Papoe took home the singles championships in the ITF-sponsored event. Papoe entered the tournament as the number two seed, taking down teammate Aman Sharma (3-6, 6-1, 6-1) and American Andrew Fenty (6-3, 6-1) to move onto the quarterfinals. The junior continued his mojo straight into the finals, taking down Equador's Angle Diaz Jalili in the quarters (6-3, 6-1) and American Perry Gregg (6-1, 7-6, (10-8) in the semis to set up a finals match with top-seeded Liam Draxl of Canada. Papoe struggled in the opening set against Draxl, losing 6-3. But the Romania flipped on the momentum, sweeping Draxl 6-1, 6-2 over the final two sets to claim the victory.

But Papoe was not the only Cornellian who took home some hardware on the weekend, as Nathan Mao and Adit Sinha captured the doubles championship. Mao and Sinha breezed through the first round by beating Filip Apltauer and Angel Diaz Jalil (6-4, 6-4), setting up a quarterfinal match with Felix Corwin and Lawrence Sciglitano. The junior duo won the opening set, 6-1, before Corwin and Sciglitano battled back to win the second (6-4) to set up a tiebreaking third. But Mao and Sinha shook off the rust, winning the tiebreaker 10-6 to move onto a semifinal match with top-seeded Ezekiel Clark and Alex Rybakov. The semis match was a mirror image of the quarterfinals, as both duos split the opening two sets to set up the tiebreaker. Mao and Sinah were unfazed again, knocking out the top seed with a 10-3 win in the third to set up a Sunday finals matchup with fourth-seeded Shunsuke Mitsui and Filip Pieczonka. Feeding off the momentum from Saturday's semifinal win, the duo took home the trophy, winning 6-4, 6-1.
