• Cornell women's basketball will be searching for its first home win since Nov. 26, 2023 when it travels to Value City Arena in Columbus, Ohio to take on Ohio State.
• Tip against the Buckeyes is set for 1:00 p.m. in the team's first-ever meeting.
• The Big Red was selected seventh in the Ivy League preseason media poll. Cornell finished 10-17 in the 2022-23 season, ending at seventh in the Ancient Eight. The Big Red tallied a road win over Brown and a sweep over Dartmouth in conference play.
• Senior captain Kaya Ingram has had a strong start to her last season on East Hill, leading Cornell in scoring in three of its five games so far while shooting 77.8 percent from the free throw line (28-36).
• Rachel Kaus has been a key player off the bench for the Big Red, sitting second in PPG (9.0) while shooting 80.8 percent from the charity stripe in four games. The first-year theme also carries over for Azareya Kilgoe, as the Seaford, Del. native has scored 33 points while leading Cornell with 16 assists handed out.

• The UAlbany defense held strong, forcing the Big Red to single-digit points in two quarters to power away a 57-45 victory for the Great Danes.
• UAlbany opened the game on a strong run, but Cornell battled back to lead 12-9.
• The Great Danes closed the quarter on a 7-2 run to grab a lead it never gave up.
• Freshmen Clarke Jackson and Rachel Kaus each scored a team-high eight points with Jackson adding seven rebounds to lead the Big Red, which scored just 14 points in the middle two quarters to put itself in too big a hole to recover from.
• The Cornell bench outscored the Great Danes' 25-3, but the visitors shot 42 percent overall and doubled up Cornell in 3-pointers made (6-3). Kaya Ingram and Vivenne Knee each posted seven points in the loss.
• Helene Haegerstrand posted a game-high 17 points to lead three Great Danes in double figures, with Deja Evans adding 15 points and six rebounds and Lilly Phillips posting 10.
