Women's Baskeball Chases Consecutive Wins At Bucknell

• Cornell women's basketball will close out its stretch of seven out of eight games on the road when it travels to Lewisburg, Pa. to face Bucknell.
• The Big Red will take on the Bison on Saturday, Dec. 3 at 2:00 p.m.
• The Big Red was selected seventh in the Ivy League preseason media poll. Cornell finished 10-17 in the 2022-23 season, ending at seventh in the Ancient Eight. The Big Red tallied a road win over Brown and a sweep over Dartmouth in conference play.T
• Senior captain Kaya Ingram has had a strong start to her last season on East Hill, scoring double-digits in four of the Big Red's seven games so far in 2023. The Albuquerque, N.M. native also leads the team in PPG (10.6) and steals (10).
• Rachel Kaus has been a key player off the bench for the Big Red, sitting second in PPG (10.1) and shooting 55.6 percent from the field in seven games. The first-year theme also carries over for Azareya Kilgoe, as the Seaford, Del. native has started all seven games and leads Cornell with 22 assists handed out so far in the 2023-24 season.

• Freshman Rachel Kaus was the star of the show for the Big Red, netting a careerhigh 20 points as Cornell knocked off Binghamton 58-57 on Wednesday, Nov 29 from Vestal, N.Y.
• Azareya Kilgoe knocked down a key free-throw with four seconds remaining for Cornell to escape Dr. Bai Lee Court with the victory, which was the team's third-straight over the Bearcats. 
• Cornell's offense had its best showing to date, shooting 50.9 percent from the field, including 15-25 in the second half in the victory. The Big Red also held an impressive 52-28 advantage in points in the paint. 
• Summer Parker-Hall had a strong night behind Kaus, scoring 12 points on five of eight shooting and grabbing 10 rebounds. Clarke Jackson rounded out the top of the scoring sheet for the Big Red with eight points and five rebounds in 29 minutes off the bench. 
• Shannon O'Connor led the Bearcats offense with a season-high 14 points on six of seven shooting, while Jadyn Weltz added 10 points and eight rebounds.
