ITHACA, N.Y. - First-year forward
Alex Harris has been given ECAC Rookie of The Year honors. Harris burst onto the scene, registering 28 points on 12 goals and four assists in his first run on East Hill. The Vancouver native scored the most points and goals of any first-year Cornellian in the history of the program.
The rookie standout also earned the 2023 High School Boys National Player of the Year award after an outstanding season at Columbia River High School. The state of Washington conducts its high school boys soccer season in the Spring, therefore Harris was named the recipient following his first collegiate season which took place in the Fall. Earlier this year Harris led the Rapids to its first Washington State Championship since 2018.
