• Cornell fights to stay perfect with a 3-0 start after opening the season with a 12-10 victory over UAlbany, and 12-5 win at the home opener against Lehigh.

• Connor Buczek is entering his second full season as the Richard M. Moran Head Coach of Men's Lacrosse
• Though Buczek has been with the program since 2012, beginning as a player, the assistant coach, this will mark his fourth year at the helm. Buczek for took the reins in the spring of 2020 following the cancelation of collegiate sports due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
• The only coach in Cornell men's lacrosse history to make an NCAA title run in his first season (Richie Moran won the inaugural NCAA Lacrosse Championship (1971) in his third season).
• The youngest active coach in DI men's lacrosse.
• Buczek stands as the reigning Ivy League Coach of the Year.

• CJ Kirst and Billy Coyle each tallied a hat trick and an assist in the outing, leading the Big Red in points with four.
