ITHACA, N.Y. — The No. 40-ranked Cornell men's tennis team cruised past Yale in the program's final home match of the regular season on Sunday, posting a 6-1 victory at the Reis Tennis Center.
Cornell, with the victory, improved to 17-5 on the year and is 4-2 in Ivy League play. Yale fell to 11-10 overall and 1-5 in Ivy League play.
Two of the three doubles matches needed tiebreakers, while the other was a 7-5 victory for Yale's Michael Sun and Eric Li. Cornell's

Petar Teodorovic posted 7-6 (3) wins to give the Big Red the first point of the match.
The Big Red posted five straight-set victories at the top five singles matches to solidify the victory.
Sinha dropped just four games to Aidan Reilly, 6-2, 6-2, at No. 4 singles while No. 70-ranked
Radu Papoe conceded five games to Theo Dean at the top singles match. The remaining trio of Cornell victories featured six games lost by Cornell players.
Paquette won the first set, 7-5, over Li before retiring in the second set when he was trailing 3-2.
Looking Ahead
Cornell will play its final regular season match of the season when it travels to No. 13-ranked Columbia. The match is slated to begin at 1 p.m. with doubles action.
