ITHACA, N.Y. — The No. 9 Cornell women's squash team opens the Ivy League portion of its schedule on the road against the No. 4 Penn Quakers (7-0) on Friday, Jan. 19, at 1:30 p.m. and at home against the No. 3 Princeton Tigers (4-0) on Sunday, Jan. 21, at noon. Cornell's matchup against Penn will be streamed live on Stretch.Â
Off to the best start in program history, the Big Red enters the weekend 6-1 on the season after suffering its first loss against No. 5 Stanford last Sunday. Alysa Ali (7-0) and Saniya Jaggi (7-0) have won each of their matches so far this season, while Wen Li Lai (6-1) and Maya Voloshin (6-1) have won six of seven. Three others — Aishwarya Khubchandani, Ania LaDow and Christa Kay — are tied for third on the team with five victories.Â
Cornell won last year's meeting against Penn in Ithaca, but Penn has controlled the all-time series (30-3). The Big Red has never beaten Princeton (29-0).
