PHILADELPHIA, Pa. — The No. 9 Cornell women's squash team fell to 6-2 on the season Friday afternoon, losing its Ivy League opener 7-2 to No. 4 Penn (8-0) at the Penn Squash Center.
Freshmen Christa Kay and Maya Voloshin won their matches for the Big Red. Kay improved to 6-2, while Voloshin moved into a tie for the team lead in wins with seven. Penn moved to 30-3 all-time against Cornell and avenged last season's loss.
