ITHACA, N.Y. -- Four Cornellians competed in the second annual Dream Japan Bowl this past weekend, led by Brown's Head Coach James Perry. The journey across the globe included more than a football game for the delegation, as the group also got the opportunity to be a part of a few cultural experiences over a week, including touring Kamakura, visiting the U.S. Embassy and Ministry of Foreign Affairs, riding on Japan's Maglev train, and hosting a football clinic at a local school.

Jackson Kennedy, Nicholas Laboy, Noah Labbé, and Curtis Raymond III made up the representatives for the Big Red as part of a 98-man Ivy League team.

The Ivy roster suited up to face off against the Japan All-Star team made up of the top players from the X League (Japan's top American football league). The game, played on Sunday, Jan. 21 at National Stadium, concluded in a 10-5 win for Japan. The field goal for the Ivy League was booted in by Kennedy, who became the 25th player all-time at Cornell to hit the century mark in points this past season.
