  • Cornell women's basketball wraps up the month of January with a road trip to top-of-the-Ivy Princeton.
  • The Big Red will face off against the Tigers on Saturday, Jan. 27 at 2 p.m.
  • Cornell was selected seventh in the Ivy League preseason media poll. Cornell finished 10-17 in the 2022-23 season, ending at seventh in the Ancient Eight. The Big Red tallied a road win over Brown and a sweep over Dartmouth in conference play.
  • This week, Cornell enters the contest tied for seventh, still seeking the team's first conference win, alongside Dartmouth.
  • Sophomore Emily Pape scored in double figures in eight of the last nine games, including matching her career high (27) against Syracuse on Dec. 18. The one stumble came at Penn, where she had just six. Her seven-straight before Penn is the longest streak of double-digit performances for a Big Red athlete since Laura Bagwell-Katalinich '20 had 21 straight during the 2019-20 season.
  • Pape shot an impressive 52% from the field, secured 57 rebounds, and swiped 16 steals over the seven-game stretch.
  • Senior captain Kaya Ingram and junior Summer Parker-Hall follow, tallying 161 and 125 points this season. Ingram is second on the team in steals (16) and first in assists (48).

  • Despite leading for 59 percent of the game, Brown battles back to a 30-point fourth quarter to pull out a 64-53 win over the Big Red.
  • Emily Pape returned to scoring double figures with a team-high 13 points. Clarke Jackson followed with a career-high 11 points in the contest on five-of-six shooting from the field.
  • Despite the loss, Cornell outrebounded Brown by 14 and tallied the most rebounds this season with 45. This marked the most since being at Brown last year when the Big Red grabbed 26.
  • Brown was led by a career-high 25 points from Grace Arnolie, who shot 50 percent from the field and behind the arc, dropping six three-pointers. Kyla Jones, Isabella Mauricio, and Ada Anamekwe also notched double figures.
