  • The Big Red will face off against the Big Green on Friday, Feb. 2 at 6 p.m.
  • Cornell was selected seventh in the Ivy League preseason media poll. Cornell finished 10-17 in the 2022-23 season, ending at seventh in the Ancient Eight. The Big Red tallied a road win over Brown and a sweep over Dartmouth in conference play.
  • Entering the weekend, Cornell finds itself seventh in the conference at 0-4 and is still searching for its first win alongside Dartmouth.
  • Sophomore Emily Pape scored in double figures in eight of the last ten games, including matching her career high (27) against Syracuse on Dec. 18. Pape has struggled of late though, missing the double-digit threshold in two out of the last three games. Her seven-straight before Jan. 15 against Penn is the longest streak of double-digit performances for a Big Red athlete since Laura Bagwell-Katalinich '20 had 21 straight during the 2019-20 season.
  • Pape shot an impressive 52% from the field, secured 57 rebounds, and swiped 16 steals over the seven-game stretch.
    Senior captain Kaya Ingram and junior Summer Parker-Hall follow, tallying 170 and 135 points this season. Ingram is second on the team in steals (16) and is the first Big Red player to hit 50 assists this season.

  • A 20-8 hole after the first quarter doomed the Big Red as its losing streak jumped to six with an 85-47 road loss to conference leader Princeton on Saturday, Jan. 27.
  • Junior Summer Parker-Hall was the lone double-digit scorer for Cornell with ten points on three-of-four shooting and a perfect 4-4 from the free throw line.
  • Cornell struggled mightly from the field, shooting 30.4 percent, making it the fifth straight game the Big Red has finished the game at 35.0 percent or lower. The team also grabbed a season-low 21 rebounds in the lost to the Tigers.
  • Princeton's offense was led by reigning Ivy League Player of the Year Kaitlyn Chen, who tallied 12 points and matched her career-high in assists (10). Sophomore Madison St. Rose was the Tigers' leading scorer with 15 points and two steals.
