ITHACA, N.Y. -- Take a look back into Cornell football's 17-9 loss at Columbia at Wien Stadium on Saturday, Nov. 23.

• The Big Red had its second fake punt of the season gain more than 40 yards when junior Robert Tucker III shoveled the ball ahead to senior Hunter Sloan for a 40-yard gain in the second quarter. Tucker posted a 74-yard scoring run on a fake against Penn.
• Sophomore place-kicker Alan Zhao posted his second consecutive game with at least three field goals, connecting on 3-of-4 efforts with a long of 45 yards.
• With his nine points on the day, Zhao moved into second place on the school's single-season scoring list with 72 points, matching AJ Weitsman in 2005 and just three points behind Brad Greenway's 2011 season of 75.
• Zhao's 13 field goals on the season are tied for the third-most in a game in school history, while its .929 field goal percentage is the best in school history with at least 10 attempts.
• Freshman tight end Blaine Zoller caught a career-best three passes for 38 yards.
• Senior linebacker Luke Banbury posted 10 tackles, his third double figure game in the team's last five contests, to give him 87 tackles for the year - the second most in the past decade behind the 95 by Jake Stebbins in the 2021 campaign.
• Senior Damon Barnes recorded a career-high 13 tackles, while junior Joey Cheshire registered a best of 10 stops.
• Senior quarterback Jameson Wang was credited with his first career catch when his throw was batted back by a Columbia defender and he turned it into a 1-yard gain.
• Wang recorded a season-best 97 rushing yards against the Lions, moving him into the top 10 on the school's rushing list with 1,811 yards, surpassing Big Red greats Joe Holland '79 (1,755) and Pete Larson '67 (1,751).
• Wang completed his career with the following all-time career ranks
   Rushing yards: 10th, 1,816 yards
   Rushing touchdowns: 4th, 27 touchdowns
   Passing yards: 3rd, 6,959 yards
   Passing touchdowns: 3rd, 51 touchdowns
   Passing completions: 3rd, 663 completions
   Passing attempts: 3rd, 1,055 attempts
   Pass completion percentage: 1st, .629
   Pass efficiency rating: 3rd, 128.33
   Total offense: 2nd, 8,761 yards
   Scoring: 6th, 166 points

• Wang completed 2024 with the following Big Red season rankings
   Passing yards: 7th, 2,524 yards
   Passing touchdowns: 3rd, 24 touchdowns
   Passing completions: 5th, 243 completions
   Passing attempts: 6th, 376 attempts
   Pass completion percentage: 3rd, .646
   Pass efficiency rating: 4th, 135.97
   Total offense: 4th, 3,018 yards
   Touchdowns responsible for: 1st, 31 touchdowns
• Sophomore Samuel Musungu hauled in seven passes for 93 yards, becoming the first Cornell player with at least 50 catches and 50 yards receiving in each game since Grant Gellatly in 2013.
• Both junior Parker Woodring and sophomore Samuel Musungu ended the season with a reception in all 10 contests.
• Musungu also climbed the charts with his efforts against the Lions. 
   Jumped to No. 14 in school history with 107 career catches.
   His 1,159 career receiving yards moved him to No. 22.
   Musungu's seven catches on the day gave him 82 for the season, good for third in a single campaign.
   His 945 receiving yards in 2024 moved to No. 5 in a single year.
• Both junior Parker Woodring and sophomore Samuel Musungu ended the season with a reception in all 10 contests.
• Cornell game captains were Luke Banbury, Jack Powers, Hunter Sloan and Jameson Wang.
