ITHACA, N.Y. -- Cornell men's squash hits the road for one more regular season test ahead of the CSA National Championships. The #7 Big Red will take on #9 Virginia in Charlottesville, Va. on Sunday, Feb. 18.
Virginia owns the all-time series, 6-1, but the Big Red took last season's meeting in a 5-4 battle. This will be the first-ever away game in the series, as Cornell and Virginia have only ever met on neutral ground or in Ithaca.
Cornell is coming off a week of Ivy Honors in which senior
Veer Chotrani was named the Ivy League Player of the Year. The Mumbai, India native has competed exclusively at the No. 1 position this season and has not dropped a match. Of his nine matches this season, he has completed four by 3-0 sweeps.
Following the contest at Virginia, Cornell will prepare for the CSA National Championships. Beginning on Thursday, Feb. 29 in Philadelphia, Pa., Cornell will look to build upon its sixth-place finish from 2022-23.
