ITHACA, N.Y. — As the regular season winds down, the No. 8 Cornell women's squash team concludes Ivy League play with a road contest against No. 10 Columbia on Sunday, Feb. 11, at noon at the SL Green StreetSquash Center.
The Big Red (7-6, 1-4 Ivy) snapped a six-game losing streak last weekend with a 9-0 road win over Dartmouth. Sophomores Aishwarya Khubchandani and Alysa Ali and freshman Maya Voloshin won their matches in straight sets. Senior Wen Li Lai, freshman Saniya Jaggi and Ali lead the Big Red with eight victories.
Columbia enters Sunday's matchup 3-8 overall and 1-4 in the Ivy League. The Big Red has a 9-7 advantage in the all-time series, but the Lions have won six of the last seven contests, including a 5-4 win last season in Philadelphia.
