ITHACA, N.Y. — The Cornell men's polo team begins postseason play when it faces Stanford on Thursday, April 4, at 1 p.m. in the Division II Men's National Intercollegiate Championships at the Central Coast Polo Club in Los Osos, California.
The Big Red (11-5), winners of three straight games, beat the Work-To-Ride Polo Club 19-9 in its regular-season finale on March 29. Benito Jaramillo-Samper led the Big Red in scoring.
The winner of Cornell-Stanford advances to face Georgetown or Texas Tech in the championship game at 1 p.m. on Saturday. The losers of those semifinal games will play in the consolation final at 1 p.m. Friday.
The Big Red enters the postseason having won seven of its last eight games.
