Raghavan, Pandole Log Victories as #9 Men’s Squash Falls to #6 Harvard

ITHACA, N.Y. — Senior Shreemann Raghavan and junior Jeh Pandole registered victories as the No. 9-ranked Cornell men's squash team (5-1) saw its five-match win streak come to an end as No. 6-ranked Harvard (4-1) posted a 7-2 victory on Sunday afternoon at the Belkin Squash Courts.

Raghavan edged Tate Harms in five games at the No. 6 position alternating victories throughout the match, 11-9, 10-12, 11-7, 8-11, 11-5.

Pandole punctuated his four-game victory over Marcus Lee in the No. 9 match with an 11-2 victory in the fourth game.

Senior Arnaav Sareen (No. 2), sophomore Arnav Tevatia (No. 8), and freshmen Youssef Sarhan (No. 3) and Roman Bicknell (No. 7) all fell in five games in their respective matches.

No. 5: Segev Rome def. Rohan Iyer, 11-9, 11-5, 11-8.
No. 6: Shreemann Raghavan def. Tate Harms, 11-9, 10-12, 11-7, 8-11, 11-5.
No. 7: Conner Stoltz def. Roman Bicknell, 11-7, 9-11, 11-4, 5-11, 12-10.
No. 8: Louis Murray def. Arnav Tevatia, 9-11, 11-8, 11-5, 5-11, 11-6.
No. 9: Jeh Pandole def. Marcus Lee, 11-7, 11-8, 1-11, 11-2.

UP NEXT
Cornell will return to action on Wednesday, Jan. 15, when it travels to Philadelphia for a match against No. 7-ranked Drexel (5-3). First matches from the Kline & Specter Squash Center are scheduled to begin at 4 p.m.
