#1 Penn Posts Clean Sweep Over #9 Men's Squash

PHILADELPHIA — Top-ranked Penn (13-0, 3-0 Ivy League) posted a clean sweep over the No. 9-ranked Cornell men's squash team (5-4, 1-3 Ivy League) at the Penn Squash Center on Saturday afternoon.

Eight of the Quakers' nine victories came in three games. The lone match that needed extra points was the third game of the No. 5 match between senior Rohan Iyer and Dana Santry, 13-11.

Freshman Roman Bicknell was the lone Big Red player to force an additional game, falling in four games to Varun Chitturi, 11-7, 9-11, 11-5, 11-4.

No. 5: Dana Santry def. Rohan Iyer, 11-4, 11-4, 13-11.
No. 6: Abdelrahman Dweek def. Shreemann Raghavan, 11-2, 11-6, 11-5.
No. 7: Varun Chitturi def. Roman Bicknell, 11-7, 9-11, 11-5, 11-4.
No. 8: Roger Alber Baddour def. Arnav Tevatia, 11-3, 11-4, 11-2.
No. 9: Hao Cui def. Jeh Pandole, 11-3, 11-3, 11-9.

UP NEXT
Select players from the Cornell men's squash team will participate at the 2025 CSA Individual Championships in New York City next weekend.

The tournament, which will coincide with the prestigious J.P. Morgan Tournament of Champions, will begin on Saturday, Jan. 25, and run through Tuesday, Jan. 28. Saturday and Sunday's matches will be held inside Open Squash — FiDi before moving to the Tournament of Champions Glass Court inside Grand Central Terminal, where the Pool and Ramsay division semifinals and finals will take place on Monday and Tuesday.
