ITHACA, N.Y. — Cornell women's soccer junior forward Brooke Brown has been named the Ivy League's Co-Offensive Player of the Week, sharing the honor with Columbia's Maia Tabion, after her three-point performance in Saturday's 2-1 victory over Penn at Rhodes Field.

Brown assisted on junior forward Sydney Allen's equalizing goal in the 54th minute before netting the game-winning strike 10 minutes later, pouncing on a rebound after freshman defender Raya Leikin's shot hit the right post. The win marked Cornell's first road win over Penn since 1995.

The accolade is the second weekly award earned by the Big Red this season and comes as Cornell (5-5-4, 2-3-0 Ivy League) makes a late push toward qualifying for the Ivy League Women's Soccer Tournament. The Big Red currently sit sixth in the standings with six points, trailing Brown and Dartmouth by two points with both teams still on Cornell's schedule.

Cornell returns to Berman Field on Saturday, Oct. 25, for a pivotal Senior Day matchup against Brown (8-2-4, 2-1-2 Ivy League). Kickoff between the Big Red and Bears is set for 1 p.m. on ESPN+.
