ITHACA, N.Y. -- All 10 members of the Cornell men's tennis team will compete at the 2025 ITA Northeast Regional Championships, hosted by Yale University from Thursday, Oct. 9, through Tuesday, Oct. 14, at the Cullman-Heyman Tennis Center in New Haven, Conn. Tournament play begins at 9 a.m. daily through Sunday, with 10 a.m. starts Monday and Tuesday as the Big Red advance through the draw.

Seniors Noah Eisenberg, Aman Sharma and Petar Teodorovic, juniors Felipe Pinzon and Eric Verdes, sophomores Rodrigo Fernandes and Rushil Khosla, and freshmen Jack Casciato, Nathan Gold and Rethin Pranav Senthil Kumar will all represent the Big Red in open singles play. Cornell will also enter four doubles pairings: Khosla and Verdes, Pinzon and Teodorovic, Eisenberg and Sharma, and Fernandes and Senthil Kumar.

The ITA Northeast Regional is one of 12 tournaments nationwide that determine qualifiers for the ITA National Fall Championships. Each region's two singles finalists and doubles champions earn automatic berths to the national event.

A year ago, the Big Red captured both singles and doubles bids from the regional. Verdes and Khosla won the doubles crown over teammates Radu Papoe '25 and Fernandes, 6-2, 7-5, while Papoe also advanced to nationals in singles after reaching an unplayed final.
