ITHACA, N.Y. — The No. 10-ranked Cornell men's squash team delivered a dominant performance on Friday night, blanking No. 18 Western 9-0 at the Belkin Squash Courts. The Big Red won all nine matches in commanding fashion, with only two contests extending beyond three games.
Leading the way for the Big Red (3-1) was junior
Syan Singh at the No. 1 position, who dispatched Daniel Deverill in straight sets, 11-7, 11-4, 11-3. Sophomore
Youssef Sarhan followed suit at No. 2, cruising past Rohan Paliwal 11-4, 11-2, 11-6.

Aly Ezzat secured a hard-fought victory at No. 3, outlasting Josh Kay 11-7, 13-11, 11-7, while fellow first-year
Edward Thng earned a straight-set triumph at No. 4 over William Znidarec, 11-8, 11-7, 11-7.
The Big Red's depth proved decisive in the lower half of the ladder against Western (2-3). Junior Arnav Tevatia battled through four games at No. 5, defeating Liam McKay 11-9, 11-7, 9-11, 11-6. Sophomore Roman Bicknell (No. 6), senior Jeh Pandole (No. 7), and freshman Vedant Chheda (No. 9) all posted straight-set victories, while sophomore Vivaan Shah overcame Dylan Erb in four games at No. 8, 11-5, 10-12, 11-6, 11-6.

Tufts is coming off a 9-0 sweep over Hamilton on Friday night. The Jumbos will also play Western in Ithaca on Saturday at 1 p.m., as part of a three-match New York road trip.
