CHARLOTTESVILL, Va. – The Cornell softball team (4-6) completes the Party at the Palmer on Sunday morning with a 11-6 loss to Seton Hall on Palmer Field.

Seton Hall scored nine runs over the first two innings of the game.
In the bottom of the third Cornell loaded the bases with two hits and a walk. Cai then took four balls to walk in Ella Harrod. Hailey Pirkey then followed up with a sacrifice fly to score Emma Harshberger, 9-2.
The Big Red had a big fifth inning with three hits and four runs. Lauren Holt hit her second home run of the season, Pirkey doubled to left center and then Antich singled up the middle to make it 9-6.
The Pirates added two more runs in the seventh to win the game 11-6.

Cornell then remains on the road for UMBC Invite March 7-9 in Baltimore before they start Ivy League play at home against Yale on March 22.
