"A great season-opening win for our guys," said Anthony M. Condo, Jr., Peter B. Orthwein '68 Head Coach of Polo. "We look forward to maintaining our status as a USPA D1 squad this year, and this certainly is a step in the right direction. Especially notable this evening is how Senior Fin Maroney's game has elevated to start this year. We were also able to go deep into our bench tonight, which allows for valuable playing time for our reserve players. I am really excited to see what this team ultimately accomplishes this season."
Cornell opens the year 1-0. They will face Gardnertown Polo Club at home on October 24th at 6:00 p.m.
