ITHACA, N.Y. -- The Cornell women's polo team jumped out to a 16-0 halftime lead and cruised to a 25-3 triumph over Montana State on Friday evening at Oxley Equestrian Center. The Big Red improved to 8-2 on the season and extended its win streak to six dating back to the fall.
Samantha Iahn scored seven of her 11 goals in the second chukker and
Naomi Marlough tallied four in the first to set the tone en route to a five-goal day.
Lara Chong tallied six times, while
Eva Scott found the goal twice and Grace Reed scored once in the victory.
Cornell will be back in action for a contest with Garrison Forest on Friday, Feb. 13 at 7 p.m. at Oxley.
