Cornell Wraps NCAA Championships; Shapiro Finishes Eighth

CLEVELAND, Ohio — Cornell closed out competition at the NCAA Division I Wrestling Championships on Saturday during Session 5.

Junior Meyer Shapiro placed eighth at 157 pounds after issuing a medical forfeit in his final bout. This finish marks his third All-America honor. 

As a team, Cornell finished 18th overall with 21.5 points.

The Big Red will return to action next season.
