Thoughts From Head Coach
"It is always great to compete at home in a fun environment like we had out on the course today. Though we only had a portion of the team competing, the rest of the team brought great energy to the event and supported the racers in their efforts. The racers did an excellent job of working together and building throughout the race. Getting in some early-season race reps for the group out there today is going to help as we move forward with the season.
"It was exciting to see our freshmen, Huntley and Ibrahim, get the wins. They both took control of their races heading into mile two and never looked back. They are both picking up momentum and confidence in what they are doing, and that is going to be fun to see continue."
