SEEKONK, Mass. – Cornell shot a 2-over 286 in the final round Sunday, 12 strokes better than its second round, to move up from a tie for 14th and finish 13th at the Ryan T. Lee Memorial Collegiate at Ledgemont Country Club.

The Big Red finished at 33-over 885 (301-298-286) in the 18-team field. The 286 was the sixth-lowest round of the day and passed Fairfield (887) for 13th. Cornell is three strokes behind Providence (882) for 12th and 27 strokes ahead of host Brown (912).

TJ Betlow and Javier Benerofe each shot an even-par 71 to lead Cornell in the final round, and all four scores that counted Sunday fell between 71 and 72. Benerofe dropped nine strokes from his second round (80-80-71—231) and climbed from 83rd to a tie for 70th. Betlow improved by seven strokes (75-78-71—224) and moved from a tie for 63rd to a tie for 55th.

Tyler Debusschere and sophomore Shep Davis each carded a 72. Debusschere (73-72-72—217) tied for 23rd, and he was Cornell's top finisher at 4-over. Davis (75-74-72—221) tied for 40th. Adithya Venkataraghavan (78-74-79—231) also tied for 70th.

Bryant won the team title at 2-under 850 after a 280 in the final round erased a five-stroke deficit to 36-hole leader Long Island University. Fairleigh Dickinson, which also shot 280 Sunday, finished one stroke back at 851, and LIU was third at 852. Sacred Heart's Ronan Mooney took the individual title at 11-under 202 (63-70-69), three strokes ahead of Siena's Mike McConie (205).
