Biography
Junior Season - 2008
Dixon moved more into a supporting role to help lead a young attack and earned her third all-conference honor, making the honorable mention list for the second straight season. She appeared in 15 games, starting 14 of those, and tallied a pair of goals and an assist for five points, good for third on the team. Dixon picked up her first point of the year in the loss at Columbia on Sept. 26, then added the game-winning goal at Brown on Oct. 26. Dixon capped off her season with a goal in the season finale against Dartmouth on Nov. 8.
Sophomore Season - 2007
Dixon again earned All-Ivy League honors, this time earning honorable mention after picking up a pair of assists during her second season. She appeared in 14 games while battling through injury, earning 12 starts. Dixon picked up an assist in the 4-2 loss at St. Bonaventure on Sept. 9 and later added one on one of Lena Russomagno's three goals in the 3-2 victory over Lafayette on Sept. 16.
Freshman Season - 2006
Dixon earned second-team all-league honors after making an immediate impact in the Ivy League, scoring the game-winning goal in her first game in a Cornell uniform on Sept. 3 at Lafayette. She scored a goal in three straight games from Oct. 14 to Oct. 25, with two of those coming against Ivy League foes Yale and Brown. Dixon also added a goal and an assist in the 5-0 rout of Albany on Oct. 25. For the season, Dixon appeared in 15 games, starting nine times.
At South Pasadena
Dixon was a four-time letterwinner at South Pasadena HS. She was named the David N. Dickson Showcase Athlete of the Year and the C. Merrill Greene Female Athlete of the Year as a senior and was and All-CIF Division IV first-team selection in 2003, 2004 and 2006. She was the Rio Hondo League MVP in 2005 and League Offensive Player of the Year in 2006. Dixon was named team offensive MVP three times and was her school’s athlete of the year four times. She played for the SASC Strikers for six seasons, winning the Cerritos Memorial Cup, the Sun and Surf Cup and the Slammers Tour championships in 2004.
Personal
Eva Lorraine Dixon is the daughter of Robert and Angelique Dixon and has an older brother. Dixon is enrolled in the College of Human Ecology.
