At Cornell
Ohara will serve as team captain for the second straight year, and the senior will again be one of the team’s top competitors on beam while attempting to earn a starting position on floor. She saw action on beam in each of the team’s meets, posting a score of 9.6 or better in four of her last five meets as a junior. She scored a team-high 9.775 at the USAG team finals to earn second-team All-America honors. As a sophomore, Ohara earned starting positions on both beam and floor. She was a consistent performer on both events, placing third on beam at the Ivy Classic and first at the ECAC championship with a season high score of 9.825. In 2007, she won the team’s Jill Ryer Leadership Award, and was selected by the team as a co-captain in 2008. Ohara is enrolled in Cornell’s College of Agriculture and Life Sciences.

In Secondary School
Ohara is a two-time national competitor who also was the level 10 California state beam and all-around champion in 2004.

Stacey Kim Ohara is the daughter of Scott and Sue Ohara and has a younger brother.
