Biography
At Cornell
Scott has been a starter on both bars and beam over her last two seasons and will be a candidate to be in both lineups again this year. She was a consistent contributor in both events, starting each meet. Scott placed third at the Ivy Classic on beam with a 9.650 in 2009. She had a season-best score on the event with a 9.750 twice during the year, including at the ECAC championships. She hit for a score of 9.500 or better three times on bars during the year and will also have an opportunity to compete for a spot in the vault lineup in 2010. She is enrolled in Cornell’s College of Arts and Sciences.
In Secondary School
A graduate of Union HS, Scott was a USAG regional competitor and placed in the top 20 at the high school national championships. USA Gymnastics named her "Optional Athlete of the Year."
Personal
Danielle Nicole Scott is the daughter of David and Patricia Scott and has a younger sister.
