Biography

At Cornell
Chang made three appearances as a junior, making his season debut in the win at Kentucky on Aug. 31. He played in the 1-1 tie at Yale and closed out the season with a reserve appearance in the victory against Hartwick on Nov. 7. After injuries sidelined Chang for his freshman season, he made his collegiate debut on Sept. 17, 2006, at Boston University. Chang would come off the bench in another pair of games in his sophomore season, playing in back-to-back games against Brown and Hartwick.

At Palo Alto

Chang was named to the SCVAL all-league first team in 2004 playing midfield for Palo Alto HS. He helped the team to the section semifinals the following year. His club team was the U-19 Surf Cup champion in 2004 and in 2005, was the Nomads champs. Also in 2005, Chang’s club team reached the semifinals of the State Cup.

Personal

Edward Sein Chang is the son of Jay and Hyang Chang and has two younger sisters. He is a student in the College of Arts and Sciences at Cornell.
