At Cornell
One of three captains for the 2008 season, Olesky saw her production skyrocket during her junior season as she saw action in 15 games and earned the first four starts of her career. She helped a Cornell defense that allowed opponents less than 11 shots per game and ranked third in the Ivy League with four shutouts in 2007. After suffering through injuries as a freshman, Olesky grew as a player during her sophomore season, seeing action in eight games. She is one of the team’s most fit players and has turned into a solid player who plays with determination, enthusiasm and energy and occupies a position on the Wall of Honor.

At Newark Academy
Olesky was selected to the all-conference and All-Independent Schools first-team twice and earned second-team all-county honors as a senior captain after being named to the first-team as a junior. She has competed with the Spirit Eagles since 2003, making two appearances at both the Indoor Nationals and the National Festival.

Personal
Eva Wolf Olesky is the daughter of Jonathan and Susan Olesky and has an older brother and a younger brother and sister. She is enrolled in Cornell’s College of Arts and Sciences.
