At Cornell: Parks had a terrific junior year, scoring at the indoor and outdoor Heps and qualifying for the NCAA Regional Championships in the 5000m. Voted the team’s Most Valuable Distance Runner in track, she qualified for the ECACs in the 3000m, 5000m and 10,000m and scored at the indoor and outdoor Heps in the 5000m and the 10K at the outdoor Heps. A top-10 finisher in the Championship of America 5000m at the Penn Relays, she proved to be among the very best distance runners in the East and is now in Cornell’s top 10 all-time in both the 5000m and 10,000. Also a top cross country runner, she has earned All-East honors as a harrier (to go along with a track All-East award from 2007), has been a part of two ECAC team championships and has been a mainstay in the team’s top five throughout her career.

At Cicero North Syracuse HS: Parks was among New York’s best in cross country and finished in the top 20 at the Foot Locker Northeast Regional Cross Country Championships. A multiple state qualifier, she was fourth in New York state in the 3000m as a senior.
