2009-10 Women's Squash Roster
Biography
At Cornell:
After playing primarily at the No. 7 and 8 position last year, Anne Ritter trained well all season and finished strong at the team nationals, before losing three very tight matches in the individual championships. She ended the season with an 8-8 record and a CSA end of the year ranking of No. 74. In order to maintain her position on this year's deeper and stronger squad, Ritter will be expected to focus on being more patient during rallies and to work on her consistency with her short game.
Prior to Cornell:
Ritter was ranked No. 10 in the Canadian junior girls rankings. She brings a lot of playing experience because of her time playing junior squash, and she has also lettered in both field hockey and rugby.
Personal:
Anne C. Ritter is the daughter of Doug and Mary Ritter. She has one brother and one sister. Ritter is majoring in biology and society and is enrolled in Cornell's School of Arts and Sciences.
