Biography
At Cornell
After missing the fall semester last year due to being abroad, Rachel Wagner returned in January and worked her way back to the No. 7 spot in the lineup. She finished the year with a 7- 4 record and ended the year with a CSA ranking of No. 59. Wagner is in good condition for this season and will be training hard to incorporate variation of pace with an improved short game.
Prior to Cornell
Wagner will be playing for a spot in the middle position of the lineup. She brings match-play experience that she gained from traveling to the east coast regularly for junior national tournaments. She was ranked No. 21 nationally. In order to maintain regular match-play, Wagner played against local male club players.
Personal
Rachel E. Wagner is the daughter of Geoff and Gretchen Wagner. She has a younger sister and a younger brother who is a freshman on the Cornell men’s squash team. She is enrolled in Cornell's School of Hotel Administration.
