The Big Red captain entered the tournament as the No. 4 seed and notched four wins to advance to the finals where he met No. 6 Quentin Wright of Penn State. Bosak avenged his Southern Scuffle finals’ loss to the 2011 NCAA champion with a 4-2 sudden victory decision to win the NCAA crown. Bosak is now a two-time All-American. With a 33-4 season record, Bosak totals a 106-27 mark for his career to rank 15th in the Cornell record books. He is also fifth in career falls with 32 and seventh in bonus wins with 64. He opened the season on a 13 match win streak that saw him win titles at the Binghamton Open and Body Bar Invitational. At the Las Vegas Invitational, he placed second losing a 7-3 decision in the finals to the eventual No. 1 NCAA seed, Joe LeBlanc of Wyoming. Bosak also placed second at the Southern Scuffle. 2010-11: Bosak had a breakout year, earning All-American honors and several tournament championships during an impressive 34-5 campaign. Bosak began with 18 consecutive wins to open the season, capturing titles at the Binghamton Open, Body Bar, and Las Vegas Invitational during that span. He finished second at the Southern Scuffle after dropping a decision to Edinboro’s Chris Honeycutt. However, he picked up key points for the Big Red with three falls and a major decision en route to the finals. Bosak went 4-0 as Cornell won the National Duals crown, with a technical fall against Mike Larson of Missouri providing needed bonus points in a very tight quarterfinal dual. He earned First Team All-Ivy status and was the EIWA runner up. In his second NCAA tournament appearance, Bosak blitzed through his first three matches, winning by 16-0 technical fall twice and by pin in the other bout.
