Biography

At Cornell
2007-08: Holley opened his sophomore season placing second at the Brute Binghamton Open with a 3-1 record. He followed with a second place finish at the Body Bar Invitational, where he pinned NCAA qualifier Trevor Brandvold (Wisconsin) in 1:08. At the New York State Championships, Holley pinned two of his opponents en route to taking second at 184 pounds. He also wrestled at the Nittany Lion Open and Southern Scuffle.

2006-07: In his rookie season, Holley placed fourth at the UB Open going 3-2 at 174 pounds. He competed at 174 pounds again at the Body Bar Invitational before moving up a weight class for the Southern Scuffle and New York State Championships.

Prior to Cornell: 
Holley, a four-time letter winner, placed fourth in 2005 and 2006 at the Illinois state championships. In 2004, he was a Freestyle Cadet All-American at Cadet Nationals in Fargo, N.D. Holley was also a three-time regional champion and two-time conference and sectional champion.

Personal:
Nathan Tyler Holley is the son of Don and Jean Holley. He has two sisters. Holley is a student in Cornell's College of Engineering.
